Four charged after Doughty Street drug raid | News, Sport, Jobs

Four people will be charged with drug offenses following investigations this week, police said on Saturday morning.

On Thursday, members of the Dunkirk Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant for the second time in the past week at 56 W. Doughty St. in the Town of Dunkirk. The Dunkirk Police Department's Special Response Team entered the residence.

At the time of the search warrant, Dunkirk residents Kevin Dejesus-Rivera, 32, Christian Ayala-Gonzalez, 37, Yamil J. Carrasquillo-Torres, 47, and Jade B. Stocks, 25, of Cassadaga, were in the residence. During the search, investigators seized 5.5 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging materials used in the sale and distribution of narcotics, and $150. Dejesus-Rivera was charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal harassment, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Stocks was charged with third and fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Christian Ayala-Gonzalez was charged with third and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first degree criminal harassment and second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Carrasquillo-Torres was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first degree criminal harassment. All suspects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department to be arraigned in Dunkirk Town Court.
