1 man dead after shooting on Friday evening

COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Friday night.

It happened just before midnight at 2600 Delta Drive. Colorado Springs police received a call at 11:33 a.m. about a possible shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a nearby hospital and later died of his injuries.

The fatal shooting is being investigated as a homicide, the CSPD said.

The investigation is ongoing.
