One man taken away after shooting during Airbnb dispute in Weber County

UINTAH, Utah (KUTV) — One person was transported after a fight broke out at an Airbnb party in Uintah.

Weber County Sheriff's officials said they were called to the residence at 6800 South 1850 East because shots were fired there at 4 a.m. on Sunday, August 24.

According to reports, a party was taking place at the Airbnb property when a fight broke out.

According to authorities, several shots were fired during the altercation.

Immediately after the incident, the persons involved were observed fleeing the area in several vehicles.

Officials were later informed that a man had been taken to a local hospital with a possible stab wound and was in stable condition.

The detectives questioned witnesses and examined the crime scene.

“This appears to be an isolated incident and there appears to be no immediate danger to the residents of this neighborhood,” the MPs said.

No further injuries or property damage were reported.
