Chhattarpur: After the stone pelting incident in City Kotwali in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, the administration is taking a tough stance and taking stringent action against the accused. In this connection, the administration on Thursday demolished the luxurious house of Shahzad Ali. This multi-storey building worth crores of rupees, constructed on an area of ​​about 20,000 square metres, was razed to the ground. The SP and DM of the city have made major statements about the role of Shahzad Ali in this case and the investigation going on against him. They have said that after the results of the investigation into Shahzad Ali's criminal past are out, appropriate action will be taken against him.

“Shahzad Ali’s activities were not right”

Chhatarpur District Administrator Parth Jaiswal told India TV about the case that Haji Shahzad Ali instigated the crowd and the policemen were injured and are now being treated in hospital. He said, “Shahzad Ali's activities were not right. He also occupied many government lands illegally. There were complaints that people from other states were also involved in the stone pelting. There were also complaints that Shahzad had illegally built a house on a plot belonging to Kushwaha. His connection with Dubai is also being investigated.”

“There is also a case like 302 against Shahzad”

The district officer said, “There are cases like 302 against Shahzad. If anything comes out during the investigation, action will be taken. There are also allegations of setting up a khanqah and hearing complaints for money. It is also the subject of investigation that the Muslim community had taken time to submit the application at 5.30 pm, but these people came at 3.30 pm, while at that time the entire police administration was busy maintaining law and order for another law and order rally. The accused of occupying the land of Asati and the forest department are also being investigated. It has come to light that they have occupied many government lands illegally.”

Commenting on this, Chhatarpur SP Agam Jain said, “Haji Shahzad Ali's background is being investigated. These people come from common backgrounds and thorough investigation is being done. Information is available about many of his crimes. There is Crime 302 of 1988, there is Arms Act, there is crime of assault. Other people from his family who are accused in this case are also accused of occupying land and harassing people. We will take strict action against the culprit like NSA and district banishment. Investigation is also being done about his house and bank account statement.”
