Death of a teacher: Teacher killed in tragic accident | News from India

RAJAHMUDRY: A teacher died a gruesome death after taking leave from school to attend her one and a half year old daughter the sick person in East Godavari District.
A Raja Rathnam (47) belongs to Kambala Peta Area In Rajahmundry works as Hindi Teacher at secondary school In Gowripatnam in East Godavari district. When she learned that her one-and-a-half-year-old child had fallen ill, she sought permission from the school principal. She enlisted the help of her Colleague to them on bus station to catch the bus to Rajahmundry. Her colleague wanted to drop her at Pangidi as buses do not stop at Gowripatnam. The rain made the roads muddy and the motorcycle they were travelling on had broken down near Koneru Cheruvu. After they fell on the road, a truck rammed the motorcycle and she sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The Kovvuru police have registered a case and are investigating.
