Incident is being investigated as a homicide, Davenport

At approximately 12:24 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, Davenport police, fire and emergency medical services responded to the parking lot in the 100 block of West River Drive after a report of shots fired at a victim, according to a news release.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who had apparent gunshot wounds and had died from his injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Davenport Police or submit an anonymous tip to QC Crime Stoppers.

This incident remains under investigation. No further information is available at this time.
