Trump town hall meeting in La Crosse discusses economy and inflation

Former President Donald Trump will hold a town hall meeting in La Crosse on Thursday as part of his campaign for re-election.

The Trump team announced that he would hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. at the La Crosse Center where he would talk about his plan to “make America affordable again.”

“After Wisconsin voters endured four years of dangerously liberal policies from Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, President Trump will meet with the people of Wisconsin to hear their concerns and share his promising agenda,” the press release said.

The campaign also tried to link Harris to Democrat Mandela Barnes' failed challenge to U.S. Senator Ron Johnson in 2022. Harris endorsed Barnes in that race.

“The notorious swing state voters are eager to debate kitchen table issues with President Trump, and his common-sense solutions are exactly what will drive voters to the polls in droves in November,” the campaign's press release said.
