Ravens injury updates: Undrafted RB suffers broken foot; CB Trayvon Mullen suffers dislocated shoulder

The Baltimore Ravens had several players leave the field in a cart on Saturday against the Green Bay Packers. In the post-game press conference, head coach John Harbaugh gave updates on running back Owen Wright and cornerback Trayvon Mullen – two players who wanted to make the 53-man roster.

“Owen Wright has a broken foot,” Harbaugh said. “That's the one I definitely have an update on. Trayvon Mullen, I believe, [has a] has dislocated his shoulder. We will find out what that is during further examination.”

Before his injury, Wright had virtually qualified for the 53-man roster if the team wanted to keep a third running back behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.

In three preseason games, Wright managed 18 carries for 52 yards (2.9 YPC) and caught two more passes for 23 yards and a touchdown. In the last two games, Wright was involved in kick return duties and returned four kickoffs for 121 yards (30 YPR). Wright was far superior to all other competitors for the No. 3 position.

Mullen, 26, had less of a chance of making the roster due to the Ravens' extreme depth at defensive backs, but he had a decent training camp. It's not yet confirmed how long he'll be out, but it's more likely he'll be released due to injury compensation.

Another player injured Saturday was seventh-round rookie center Nick Samac, who was stretchered off the court, but Harbaugh did not provide an update on his status.
