One dead after morning accident

TAZEWELL COUNTY (25News Now) – A man has died following a car crash Saturday morning.

The Tazewell County Coroner's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Towerline Road and Toboggan Avenue in rural Green Valley

Police were notified of the accident at 11:16 a.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:29 p.m. The victim's name is being withheld at this time until his family has been notified. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning. Additional information will be released following the autopsy by Coroner Charles R. Hanley. This case remains under investigation.
