Hezbollah: “We launched an attack in revenge for the assassination of Fuad Shukr”

Hezbollah said on Sunday that the ongoing attacks on northern Israel were a retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah leader Fuad Shkur.

“As part of the initial response to the brutal Zionist aggression in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which resulted in the death of the great jihadist leader Fuad Shukr, our forces launched a large-scale air strike on the Zionist entity and on a specific Israeli military target, which will be announced later.”

“It will take some time for these military operations to be completed. After that, a detailed announcement will be made about their course and objectives. The Islamic resistance in Lebanon is now and at this moment in high alert for any Zionist aggression, especially if civilians are harmed, because the punishment will be very severe,” Hezbollah's official Telegram channel said.
