Damian Priest recalls shocking WWE incident involving Randy Orton and Stephanie McMahon | WWE News

In a recent interview Damian Priest revisited one of the most shocking moments in WWE history. In an interaction with WWE Pop Question he answered what he considers to be the worst moment in the history of the sport. According to him, it was the moment when Triple H was involved, Stephanie McMahon and Randy Orton. He took a trip back in time to 2009, a time when Randy Orton and Triple H were in conflict.
This was a major personal attack from Orton, where he tied Triple H to the ropes and kissed his wife Stephanie McMahon, who was unconscious and fell to the mat. At the time, Stephanie McMahon was the Chief Content Officer at WWE. Speaking about the incident, Priest said that this was the most “villainous” incident he had witnessed in WWE.

Speaking to WWE Pop Questions, Damian Priest added: “The whole thing with Randy Orton hitting Stephanie with an RKO while Hunter was tied up was crazy though. We know what happened there. That was by far the wildest.”
The story behind Randy Orton's kiss on Stephanie McMahon while she was unconscious
Since this incident, there have been many changes in WWE's leadership, including Stephanie McMahon's resignation as WWE's Chief Content Officer last year. While fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the Billion Dollar Princess, it is very likely that she will not return due to family obligations.

The feud began when Randy escalated the ongoing feud with the McMahons by calling Stephanie “worthless.” At that point, her father Vince McMahon demanded that Orton apologize publicly or be fired. However, Orton refused to do either and attacked the WWE Big Boss. His son Shane McMahon tried to defend him, but was also attacked by Orton. Next up was Stephanie McMahon, who was knocked unconscious. When Triple H came to defend his wife, he was tied to a rope and forced to watch as Orton kissed his unconscious wife.
