Police consider death in luxury residential tower as ‘suspicious’

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police are investigating a death this weekend at a new luxury tower in New Rochelle as suspicious.

On Saturday, just before 10:15 a.m., New Rochelle police received a call about an incident at an apartment at 55 Clinton Place. Officers responded and found the body of a woman approximately 30 years old.

Police said the cause and manner of death were still under investigation.

A free comedy show scheduled for Saturday night at Clinton Park Plaza, the new public plaza between the One and Two Clinton Park residential towers, was canceled after news of the investigation emerged.
