1 dead and 2 injured in nighttime shooting in regional park

According to Pine Bluff police, one person was killed and two others injured in a shooting overnight in the regional park.

In a post on their Facebook page, police said officers responded to calls reporting a shooting at the regional park shortly after 1 a.m. on August 25.

When officers arrived on the scene, they were met by a group of people who led them to an area near the shore.

When they arrived, officers found a 25-year-old man lying on the street with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.

His body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine the time and cause of death.

According to eyewitnesses, a large crowd was gathered on the waterfront at the time of the shooting.

Two other people were injured in the shooting. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
