Help promote education on responsible animal care!

The latest case of 42 kittens leave on the side of the road in Mai Khao is a haunting reminder of Thailand's stray cat epidemic. Thankfully, the Soi Dog Foundation managed to rescue most of them, although tragically 12 were dead when they arrived. The person who put these poor cats in this situation has been charged with animal cruelty – but it's important to note that they thought they were helping the kittens by taking them from the monastery where they were already being cared for. This horrific situation highlights the importance of educating the public about stray animal care, and the Soi Dog Foundation is the perfect organization for the job.

Sign this petition to call on the Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to support Soi Dog Foundation's awareness campaign on the importance of pet neutering!

The Foundation does important work and has neutered over a million animals since 2003. A comprehensive education campaign can significantly change the current paradigm of animal welfare in Thailand. By educating the public about the benefits of neutering over placing in a shelter, we can reduce the number of stray animals, limit the spread of disease, and improve the overall health of our animal populations.

With government support, the Soi Dog Foundation can expand its reach and ensure that every pet owner and potential pet owner understands the long-term benefits of spaying and neutering. This knowledge is critical to preventing unwanted litters and reducing the burden on local animal shelters.

Sign the petition now to urge Thailand's Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to invest in a public education campaign led by the Soi Dog Foundation.
