Woman arrested after allegedly stabbing man in the head with scissors

LINCOLN, Nebraska (KOLN) – Lincoln police were called to a vaping shop near North 47th Street and Huntington Avenue on Saturday after a person called and said a man had scissors stuck in his head.

When officers arrived shortly after 2 p.m., the 29-year-old man reported to LPD that he got into an argument with 33-year-old Allyssa Rodgers when she punched him in the head. The man thought he was hit by the woman's fists, but when he later went into the vape shop, he was told he had been stabbed with a pair of scissors.

The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Rodgers was arrested for second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
