Bangalore National Park: In a tragic case, a drug detection dog from the K-9 unit in Bengaluru died on Monday. The news was shared by Bengaluru Paw Petrol on social media platform X, announcing the loss of the dog named K9 Mickey.

Bengaluru's X-name Paw Petrol shared the pictures from the drug-sniffing dog's funeral and captioned it, “A tragic loss to the canine unit today! K9 Mickey: A brilliant drug-sniffing dog gone too soon. Rest in peace brave soul.” Later, Bengaluru City Police re-shared the X-name post and captioned it, “Rest in peace brave soul.”

This is a big deal.” Another commented, “I'm never cancelling Cubbon plans again. Sunday morning is now dedicated to Cubbon.” A fourth user wrote, “Bangalore is different.” Another added, “Sometimes when you're lucky and happen to say yes, you get really surprised.”

In other news, a Bengaluru resident received a laptop in just 13 minutes at a Starbucks outlet, courtesy of the newest player in the quick commerce industry. Flipkart Minutes, which launched in select areas of Bengaluru this month, offers products at a price that is about 10 percent lower than rivals like Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart.
