“Phantom Parade” gets worldwide release window

Almost a year after its release in Japan, the first Jujutsu Kaisen Game, Phantom Paradehas now received a worldwide release announcement, with the expected launch date officially given as December of this year.




It was announced via Gamer that a global version of Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade (Phanpara) will be released later this year in nine languages ​​via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The unveiling took place at Juju Fes 2024; another Phanpara-related event, which will provide the latest information on updates, strategies and information about the series, has been announced for December 28, 2024. For fans of the popular anime series, the Juju Fes event also revealed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will receive a compilation film, which is scheduled to be released in 2025. The film will cover the “Hidden Inventory” and “Premature Death” storylines. Fans have also been assured that the production team is working on the sequel to Season 2. It is unclear whether the Jujutsu Kaisen The compilation film of the second season will be released in English. It joins the MAPPA series Attack on Titan to get a new compilation film, as well as Chainsaw Man (continued) and The Rose of Versailles (reboot), both will be released in cinemas, the latter also in 2025.


While Juju Fes didn’t reveal much about new projects, there were numerous appearances from the cast, including live reenactments of iconic scenes, exclusive merchandise releases, and a continuation announcement of the Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition, which is now set to take place in Osaka from April 19 to June 8, 2025, followed by Fukuoka in the summer of 2025. A Jujutsu Kaisen Panel has also been confirmed for an appearance at MBS Anime Fest 2025, alongside Windbreakers, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury, Tokyo Avengers and two unnamed titles.


Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade was first released on November 21, 2023. The popular turn-based fighting game allows players to unlock new characters through rewards or its gacha system, while playing both storylines adapted from the manga and exclusive ones.
