Motorcyclist dies after accident in Milford: Police

MILFORD, MA — A man was thrown from his motorcycle and died in a crash in Milford on Saturday, according to police.

Police responded at 4:33 p.m. Saturday to a report of an accident involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle in the area of ​​Cedar Street and the I-495 South on-ramp.

First responders began treating a 43-year-old Hopkinton man who was thrown from his motorcycle and struck a nearby rock, police said.

The man was taken by ambulance to Milford Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died. The man's identity has not been released.

The driver was also taken to Milford Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
