Evil Uno: Being The Dark Order will not be released weekly, we try to focus on larger roles on screen or behind the scenes

Evil Uno releases an update to Being The Dark Order.

Being The Elite began in 2016 and was primarily a travel vlog for the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega before becoming an episodic show used to further develop storylines. In November 2023, Being The Elite became Being The Dark Order when Evil Uno, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds took over the show. They continued to release episodes. However, in recent weeks, the show had not released a new episode. That changed on August 26, when the trio shared an episode that focused on AEW All In.

In the latest edition of Being The Dark Order, Evil Uno announced that they would be reducing the number of episodes released as they wanted to give fans watchable content and focus on some bigger roles in AEW.

“We actually have news. You've probably seen that we haven't been uploading any BTDOs for the last few weeks. That's partly because we're very, very busy, but partly because we've decided to reduce the number of BTDOs that we're putting out. We don't think that this show is going to be coming out week in and week out going forward. That's in large part because we feel like we're giving you lower quality content than we used to. The appetite for it, not from you, but from the people backstage, is much greater than it used to be. With a bigger roster, there's actually more work to be done because there's more people to invest time in, including ourselves. We've been here for five years now and we're trying to focus on some bigger roles in AEW, whether it's onscreen or backstage, so we wanted to take this opportunity to tell you that we appreciate the support for about four years. We don't want to say that it's all been for nothing, because it hasn't. I don’t think we would be who we are today or where we are today if it weren’t for BTDO,” Said the evil Uno.

Reynolds noted that he and Silver wouldn't have gotten jobs without the show, and Uno responded that they weren't employed for the first year and a half in television. He countered that they wanted to make sure they were putting together a product that was worth watching.

“Probably not. A little known fact is that these guys haven't worked on television for almost a year and a half. So if BTDO or BTE hadn't existed, who knows where Dark Order would be today? But we believe that making sure the episodes we produce for you are actually worth watching is the best decision at this time.” Said Uno.

The trio emphasized that this was not a farewell, but a “see you later” and thanked the fans once again for their support.

Reynolds and Uno have previously stated that they do not want anyone else in Dark Order at this time. More information can be found here.
