BTS' Suga immediately apologized to his fans earlier this month for driving a scooter while drunk after police in South Korea revoked his license. The rapper apologized for his “reckless and wrong behavior” in a WeVerse post in Korean on August 7, a day after the August 6 incident, according to BillboardHis label BigHit also released two separate statements at the time, giving further details of the evening and apologizing to the fans. But apparently Despite it was not enough. Suga posted another apology on WeVerse on August 25, this time saying he was sorry for writing his first “hastily posted” apology in Korean, also via Billboard. In his new statement, Suga struck an even more remorseful tone, apologizing for damaging his reputation and disappointing his fans while exposing himself to further punishment. All for allegedly riding a kickboard 500 meters after having a few drinks at dinner! Suga has not yet been punished for the incident, but police said he “admitted to the charges” during questioning on August 23. We at Vulture don't condone drunk driving, but some rock stars haven't had to make such an apology.
