Gwen Stefani's teenage son Zuma once again follows in the footsteps of famous parents and surprises with a public appearance

Gwen Stefani's son Zuma is not only following in the footsteps of his stepfather Blake Shelton and the country star.

Although the son of No Doubt's frontwoman, who just celebrated his 16th birthday, made his singing debut in the former “The Voice” judge's honky-tonk bar in Oklahoma, he has also rocked on stage with his father Gavin Rossdale.

The Bush frontman and the “Underneath It All” singer were married from 2002 to 2016 and, in addition to Zuma, have two sons together: Kingston (18) and Apollo (10).

The British rock star included photos of himself and Zuma holding up their electric guitars on stage, photos and videos from their performance at Bush's last concert, and a snapshot of Zuma posing next to his birthday cake.

“ZUMA – happy 16th birthday my brilliant boy. It's been a wild ride so far,” Gavin wrote in his caption, adding, “Mr. High speed acrobatics specialist. Now turning into an incredible singer and guitarist. You are the real deal.”

He continued, “You are a gifted musician and a great person and I would appreciate any recognition,” and concluded, “I love you to the infinite universe. Your daddy,” alongside a red heart emoji.

We don't use that. … So he comes in and shows the pentatonic scale. I'm like, 'Oh God.'”
