Steelers roster cuts and news tracker: All players released on way to 53-man roster

The Pittsburgh Steelers have begun preparations ahead of Tuesday's NFL roster cut deadline at 4 p.m. ET and are working toward their goal of assembling their final 53-man roster before Week 1.

The Steelers have several interesting position battles, between their WR4/5, the fourth option at outside linebacker behind TJ Watt, Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig and the depth in the secondary. Will the Steelers be able to make trades to regain some value for the soon-to-be-released players like they did in 2023? We'll soon find out!
