Shortly after killing five people, the Israeli army marches into Tulkarem again |

Early Tuesday morning, several Israeli military vehicles entered the town of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, just hours after murdering five Palestinians.

According to media sources, the soldiers entered numerous neighborhoods and streets of the city, especially the eastern neighborhoods and the Far'un Junction and Salam Junction districts.

The sources added that during the invasion, the army used military drones to fly over houses, residential areas and alleys.

The invasion came shortly after an Israeli drone strike killed five Palestinians, including two children, and injured others in the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem on Monday evening.

Medical sources identified the five citizens killed as the child, Adnan Ayser Jaber15, the child, Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Alian16, Mohannad Kamal Mohammed Qaraawi20, Jibril Ghassan Ismail Jibril20, from Qalqilia, and Mohammad Ali Mustafa Youssef49.

In a related news, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonists were killed Khalil Salem Khalil Ziyada, 40 and three moderately injured in the village of Wad Rahhal south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Also on Monday, Israeli forces killed Eyad Ayed Abed Najjar46, in the village of Janba in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

On Monday afternoon and overnight, the Israeli army continued bombing and shelling various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip. Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured about the destroyed coastal enclave.

Israel has killed at least 40,435 people and injured more than 93,534 since October 7, 2023, mostly children, women and the elderly. In addition, there are thousands of missing Palestinians, most of whom lie under the rubble of bombed houses and buildings, on destroyed streets and in bombed alleys throughout the Gaza Strip.

It is worth mentioning that the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor states that between October 7, 2023 and August 21, 2024, Israel killed 48,380 Palestinians (43,592 civilians), including 16,008 children and 10,351 women, 522 health professionals, 301 civil defense personnel and 171 journalists, and injured 92,320.
