Wolcott man arrested for stealing peaches from Sodus Farm

According to deputies, a man is in custody following a theft at a local farm.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested David W. Direnzi, 41, of Wolcott, in connection with an investigation into a theft at Luciano Farms in the City of Sodus.

Officers allege Direnzi trespassed onto the premises of Luciano Farms on Ridge Road and stole $120 worth of peaches. He was charged with petty theft and trespassing.

Direnzi was booked into the Wayne County Sheriff's Office and then taken to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
