“A lovely person and a great actor” – Hollywood star visits famous pub in Offaly

Hollywood star Aiden Gillen has been stopping by JJ Hough's pub in Banagher in recent days.

The star of Game of Thrones, Love/Hate and Peaky Blinders was spotted at the famous Offaly pub and owner Ger Hough shared a picture of it on social media.

The pub's account posted two pictures of the couple and said: “Even Aidan Gillen is a fan of JJ Hough's Sunday Club.”

Locals and fans were quick to respond with a comment, with one writing: “Met him briefly in Dingle at Other Voices. Aiden is a lovely person and great actor. He looks like he had some nice roles in JJ Houghs.”
