Cordia receives prestigious Employer Support Freedom Award from the US Department of Defense

Cordia was selected as one of only 15 companies the United States to receive this prestigious award in 2024, standing out from 1,758 nominations from across the country. Since the Employer Support Freedom Award was introduced in 1996, only 355 employers have received this honor, underscoring the rarity and importance of this recognition.

The official award ceremony took place on 22.August at a ceremony at the Pentagon.

Cordia's nomination for this prestigious award was driven by TSgt Alec Londino, Cordia's Health and Safety Manager, who praised the company's unwavering support during his recent deployment to the Pacific as well as his ongoing military obligations. “Every time I've had to take time off due to military obligations, Cordia has provided a seamless transition so I can focus on the mission,” explained Londino. “They offer a generous military leave program that includes unchanged benefits, uninterrupted PTO accrual and salary match.”
