22-year-old charged with premeditated murder in November 2023 shooting

De'Shaun McCrimmon, 22, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the November 2023 death of Orlando Alexander Satz Jr. This is the second arrest in the case.

According to police, “Satz Jr. died on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, after he crashed his car into a parked vehicle on Spruell Drive. The Montgomery County Fire Department responded and found apparent gunshot wounds.

Jose Ramon Ventura was arrested on Thursday, June 20, 2024, and charged with accessory after the fact for driving and transporting McCrimmon and another person believed to be responsible for Satz's death.

On Saturday, August 24, investigators requested and received a warrant for McCrimmon's arrest, charging him with first-degree murder. He was arrested in Silver Spring on Tuesday, August 27, and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit awaiting a bail hearing.
