Oklahoma woman arrested and charged with murder after allegedly hitting and killing person with car

Oklahoma City police are investigating after a body was found in a vehicle in northeast Oklahoma City Monday night.

A woman was arrested in connection with the murder.

“It was inexplicable, something like this was actually happening here,” said Jonathan Wagoner, who lives in a nearby rehab center. “After our AA meeting, we came outside and saw police cars at the end of the block, and they had cordoned off the place.”

Wagoner says people in the neighborhood use the vacant lot next to the building to park their cars.

But on Monday evening, police found a body in one of them.

According to police, the car belonged to 32-year-old Jessica Yeahquo, who allegedly killed the person inside. “Investigators arrived at the scene and learned that the deceased person had been involved in some type of domestic dispute several hours earlier,” said SSgt. Dillon Quirk of the OCPD.

The outage occurred on the southbound Interstate 35 service road near Southeast 29th Street.

OCPD says the victim and suspect knew each other, but they don't know how close the relationship was or what led to the incident. “At some point during this altercation, the suspect struck the victim with a vehicle,” Quirk said.

Investigators assume that the victim then got back into the car.

According to police, Yeahquo did not drive to a nearby hospital but to the abandoned building where the victim died in the car.

Yeahquo was arrested and taken to the county jail on suspicion of murder.
