Elmira resident arrested on drug charges in Seneca County

Seneca County Sheriff Timothy Thompson announced the arrest of two Elmira residents in connection with a drug investigation on August 23, 2024. Gage M. Hatch, 34, and Aislinn E. Doolittle, 24, were taken into custody by members of the Drug Enforcement Unit at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Hatch is charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Doolittle is charged with two counts of criminal possession of the same offense. Authorities allege the two were found in possession of heroin, Xanax pills and a loaded hypodermic needle containing suspected heroin.

Both individuals were transported to the Seneca County Jail for processing and subsequently released on summons. They are scheduled to appear in Ovid Municipal Court on September 17, 2024 to answer the charges.

The investigation was conducted with the assistance of the New York State Police and the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
