Bad Bunny joins Regina King, Zoë Kravitz and others in the star-studded cast of the crime thriller “Caught Stealing”

It seems like Bad Bunny is getting more into his acting career lately. The Latin music superstar, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, just joined the star-studded cast of Darren Aronofsky's upcoming crime thriller Caught Stealing.

Bad Bunny will share the screen with Austin Butler, Zoë Kravitz and Regina King. Just a few A-list stars. No big deal.

Deadline first reported on Bad Bunny's casting in the film, which is based on the novel by Charlie Huston. The story centers on Hank Thompson (played by Butler), a former baseball player whose life descends into chaos when he is drawn into the criminal underworld of 1990s New York.

Details of Bad Bunny's role, however, are being kept under wraps. His addition to the cast adds to the excitement surrounding the film. He joins a cast that also includes Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber and Will Brill.

As mentioned, Bad Bunny has been steadily expanding his acting career, making his big screen debut in the 2021 Netflix series “Narcos: Mexico” and later starring alongside Brad Pitt in David Leitch’s “Bullet Train.”

That's great for him, but we still hope he focuses as much on his music as he does on his new acting career.
