Horan's famous Irish Egg Rolls at the Great New York State Fair

Horan's puts a new twist on traditional Irish cuisine at the Great New York State Fair.

Aaron Horan opened the booth at the fairgrounds 27 years ago and it has grown into a popular booth offering beef sandwiches and burgers.

“For the steak sandwich, the ribeye steak is cooked in lukewarm water all day long,” Horan said. “Every bite is delicious.”

The restaurant's most famous offering, however, is the Irish Egg Rolls. Made fresh every morning, they consist of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and a special secret sauce, which are rolled up and fried and then served with 1000 Island dressing.

I want them to come here and pay a fair price for an excellent meal. And have a little laugh while they're at it. That's what the fair is all about, isn't it?
