Man arrested after chase and search in south Fargo – InForum

FARGO – A man was arrested Thursday, August 28, following a search in a south Fargo neighborhood.

The search began at 9:40 a.m. when Fargo police officers were dispatched to the area of ​​45th Avenue South and 47th Street South to look for an unwanted man, according to a statement from Fargo police.

According to police, the man fled on foot when they arrived at the scene. Officers then pursued him and began their investigation.

According to police, officers set up a perimeter in the area and searched it with a sniffer dog. People were asked to avoid the area during this time.

At 2:15 p.m., officers found the suspect had entered a vacant home in the area. He was arrested and identified as Marc Ronald Young, 23, police said.

Young was arrested for failure to stop, burglary, simple assault, domestic violence, and a warrant for grand theft.
