Tragic accident in Kasungu leaves three dead | Malawi 24

Today, Thursday, August 29, three people were pronounced dead and several others injured in a tragic road accident that occurred this morning on the Bwanali section of the Kasungu-Lilongwe M1 road in Kasungu District.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident involved a Toyota Sienta that collided with another car while overtaking. As a result of the collision, the driver of the Toyota Sienta lost control, which caused the vehicle to roll over.

Kasungu police spokesman Joseph Kachikho confirmed the incident and said police are already on the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident and are working to provide care for the injured.
