Pedestrian zone Champs-Elysées: no car-free day on the famous avenue in September

The Champs-Élysées are reserved for pedestrian on one Sunday a month, usually the first. It is an opportunity for Parisians of all ages to stroll freely and without cars on the most beautiful avenue in the world. Do you want to take advantage of this unmissable walk in the Parisian calendar? The next event awaits us in October: in August and September, the Champs-Elysées will be pedestrianized.

As a reminder: With “Paris Respire“, the Paris City Hall hopes to reduce fine dust emissions. And since October 2018, the car-free area has been extended to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th arrondissements of Parisso that pedestrians can enjoy the center of the capital to the fullest.

The environmental protection plan has therefore become increasingly important, resulting in traffic restrictions for older cars and trucks since July 2017.
