RG Kar's former principal Dr. Sandip Ghosh tells how he came to know about the rape-murder incident

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been questioning the former director of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, West Bengal, Dr Sandip Ghosh for 18 days, according to a report by Times of India.

This is in connection with the rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor at RG Kar as well as financial irregularities at the institute during his tenure.

The Times of India According to the report, he has stuck to the schedule he announced since day one.

According to the Times of India Report, this is the timeline:

9.30 am

A doctor in the first year of his postgraduate training (PGT) comes across the half-naked body of the deceased 31-year-old in the seminar room

Around 9.40 a.m.

Tala police receive news of the doctor’s death from RG Kar police station

10.00 a.m.

Associate Professor Sumit Roy calls the then Director of RG Kar, Dr. Sandip Ghosh. However, since Dr. Ghosh was in the shower, he could not take calls, according to the information shared by Dr. Ghosh to the investigators. Times of India

10.10 am

At the Tala police station, the information is entered as General Diary Number 52.

10.20 am

The then director of RG Kar, Dr. Sandip Ghosh, came to know about Tapadar's death. This is the information that Dr. Ghosh shared with the investigators. He then started calling people at the hospital.

10.30 am

Dr. Ghosh's calls were answered only by the OC at Tala police station.

11:00 p.m.

Dr. Ghosh reached the hospital
