Tragic car accident claims the life of a young mother in Fondi

There, Mariagrazia Bedin, the 24-year-old who died in a car accident in Fondi, smiles, embraced by her family, the 6-month-old baby who is now fighting for his life in hospital, and her 22-year-old partner. He was driving the car that went off the road and overturned on Via Sant'Anastasia last night. He tested positive for alcohol and drugs and was placed under house arrest by the Formia traffic police.

Maria Grazia was a young mother. Within 4 years she had 3 children: A, Baby H and Baby G, as she affectionately called them. She was travelling in the car with her partner, his sister and her youngest child. The couple's other children were travelling with their grandparents in another car. According to initial reconstructions, the 22-year-old appears to have been driving the Volkswagen Golf GT and lost control of his vehicle on the Via Anastasia. The car came off the road and overturned after falling about 100 metres. The authorities are currently investigating the causes of the tragic accident.
