Jordan Spieth underwent successful surgery last week to repair an injury to his left wrist, he announced on social media on Saturday.

Spieth, 31, first injured his wrist in 2023. He most recently competed in the FedEx St. Jude Classic at TPC Southwind in Memphis from August 15-18.

“I had a procedure on my left wrist last week as I said I would,” Spieth wrote on Twitter. “The surgery went smoothly and I am grateful for the exceptional medical team and the support of (his wife) Annie and my family.”

“I am concentrating on rest and rehab and look forward to returning to golf healthy and prepared in 2025!”

Spieth has three major wins and 13 overall victories on the PGA Tour, but none since the RBC Heritage in April 2022. He began the 2024 season with a third-place finish at The Sentry and a sixth-place finish at the Phoenix Open, but he had only one more top-10 finish the rest of the year and missed seven cuts.
