Three children and a man were found dead in a house in Surrey.

The tragic discovery was made shortly after 1pm today after paramedics called police to the property in Spelthorne.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances of her death and believe it was an isolated incident with no third parties involved.

Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officials.

Chief Inspector Lucy Sanders said: “This is a tragic loss of life in our community and we are working to establish exactly what happened.”

“There is currently a significant police presence on site and in the surrounding area and we would like to thank local residents for their patience and understanding during our investigation.”

Due to previous police contact with those involved, Surrey Police has also made a mandatory report to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
