Most recently, «Spiegel TV – Reportage» on Sat.1 introduced the visitors to the legendary Penny Market in Hamburg, and just under a week ago they looked at the Penny Market at the “Parookaville” festival. On Monday, a report on Wrestle-Mania is on the program. Following “Ronzheimer”, which starts on September 9, 2024 at 8:15 p.m., “Spiegel TV Verbrechen” begins.

The first edition is called “Deadly Drives” and can be seen at 10:25 p.m. The second film is called “Bloody Traces to the Truth.” Sat.1 has not yet provided any synopses, although the productions will be shown in less than two weeks.

True crime documentaries are a huge success. For example, the TV channel VOX has been repeating “Medical Detectives” in its late-night program for years. German private channels only produce a few of their own, although their market shares are usually good. The ARD Mediathek has now also taken on the genre with “ARD Crime”.
