Gates Mills Police Report: Officers Help Control Crowd at Hospital After Euclid Shooting

GATES MILLS, Ohio

Mutual Aid: Mayfield Road

Mayfield Heights Police requested assistance with crowd control at Hillcrest Hospital at 11:20 p.m. on August 30.

Officers were on standby at the hospital as a precaution as several people arrived there following a shooting in Euclid following a high school football game.

Alert: Hawthorne Farms

On August 27, a resident accidentally activated a medical alert pendant.

Officials confirmed that the resident was fine.

Traffic Complaints: Riverview Road

A resident reported on August 28 that there was an excessive amount of speeding on Chagrin River Road due to a temporary detour for tree trimming work.

Officers were on the lookout for speeders in the area.

Traffic Complaints: Chagrin River Road

Officers received a report of loud dirt bikes traveling westbound on the road on August 29, but were unable to locate any upon arrival in the area.

Disruption: Timberidge Trail

On August 31st at 9pm a complaint was received about loud music.

Officials could not trace the origin of the music.
