Game Thread No. 139: Milwaukee Brewers (81-57) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (69-69)

After an offensive firestorm in the series opener on Labor Day, the Brewers will seek another home series win when they face the St. Louis Cardinals in the second of three games on Tuesday night.

Aaron Civale starts for the Crew and is coming off one of his best outings since joining Milwaukee in early July. He went seven scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and two walks and recording seven strikeouts on 92 pitches in a win over the Giants on Thursday afternoon. He'll look to continue that trend tonight against St. Louis.

On offense, Jackson Chourio moves back to the first position, followed by Blake Perkins at second. William Contreras bats third, while Gary Sánchez bats fourth as DH. Willy Adames is in his usual fifth position, followed by Brewer Hicklen, Rhys Hoskins, Joey Ortiz and Brice Turang in a right-handed lineup against left-hander Steven Matz.

First pitch is at 6:40 p.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
