Kollywood actress Radikaa Sarathkumar revealed that she received a call from Mohanlal after she reported a shocking incident involving hidden cameras in her dressing room.

Speaking to a group of media in Chennai, she shared the details of her conversation with Mohanlal.

“Mohanlal called me to ask if such an incident had happened on a set where he was present,” said Radikaa Mathrubhumi. The actress added that she assured the Lucifer actor that no lead actors were on the set at the time of the incident.

“When I realized that people on the set were watching the hidden camera footage, I started screaming. I also contacted the production company officials and demanded immediate action,” the actress said.

“While I was acting in a film, I passed by a group of four people who were laughing and giggling and watching a video. My eyes automatically went in that direction and I saw that they were watching something inappropriate. I called one of them and asked what they were watching. He said they were watching women changing clothes in trailers. I was really… really shocked and worried because my safety was at stake now and I didn't want anyone to see me like that. I think we were compromised. We had an argument and then they said they were all old videos. I asked them to delete all the videos they had. I couldn't do much because I had to go to the airport,” the actress revealed while speaking to CNN News18.

Earlier, she had criticised the silence of male actors across industries on the findings of the Hema committee. “Now the onus is on women. They have to take responsibility for their own protection,” the 62-year-old actress said. RMP chairperson KK Rema expressed dismay over Radhika Sarathkumar's statement and said the alleged atrocities in the film industry were unimaginable. “What kind of atrocities is this… the film world is fast becoming the biggest underworld… that is what we understand from all these allegations,” she told the media.
