Mohammed Shabir, 44, and Calum Sunderland, 25, have been charged with four counts of murder.

A third suspect arrested on suspicion of murder is “in a coma” in hospital and may never regain consciousness after being rescued from the burning house.

Police had previously confirmed that the 39-year-old was Bryonie's former partner and was arrested at the scene.

An investigation today revealed that emergency services were called at approximately 2:07 a.m. to report the fire at the single-family home.

Tragically, the mother was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident just 40 minutes later.

Chief Coroner Martin Fleming said an autopsy had been carried out on the bodies but the cause of death had not been disclosed to the family.

He adjourned the inquiry until the criminal investigation was completed.

The horror occurred last Wednesday when flames engulfed the house in the early morning hours.

The police assume that the house was deliberately set on fire.

A 36-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, was released on bail.

Two other people – a 54-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man – were detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting a crime but released on bail.

Specialist officials are supporting the family, including the children's father, Jonathan.

In a moving tribute, he said he was “absolutely devastated by the sudden loss of my fiancée Bryonie and our three wonderful children.”

Jonathan added: “Bryonie and I were together for a long time and we had a beautiful life together.

“She was a beautiful woman and a loving mother to Oscar, Aubree and Denisty.

“I loved her with all my heart and if I had the chance, I would take her place immediately. I can't imagine life without her.

“You will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart.”

Shabir and Sunderland were remanded in custody and are due to appear for a hearing on September 25.
