Jet2 expands flights to the Amalfi Coast from Manchester Airport in 2025

The airline has announced the opening of its ninth airport in Italy with flights and holiday packages via Amalfi Coast Airport (Salerno) that will go on sale in summer 2025.

Jet2.com has put a number of hotels along the Amalfi Coast up for sale and is also introducing the port town of Salerno, which will become a brand new resort for Jet2holidays.

Those travelling with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays from Manchester and Birmingham airports will have access to a new entrance to the Amalfi Coast from May 2025.

With the addition of the Amalfi Coast (Salerno) airport, which recently reopened to commercial flights, the companies will now operate nine Italian airports all year round (eight airports in summer 2025).

Flights from Manchester Airport to Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport

Manchester and Birmingham airports will offer weekly Monday flights to the Amalfi Coast (Salerno) from 26 May to 29 September 2025.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays add that both routes are exclusive to the companies.

Customers can book flight-only or a package on Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

To give customers an idea of ​​what is on offer, the companies have made some sample packages available.

Jet2holidays – Salerno, Amalfi Coast and Cilento, 4 star Holiday Inn Salerno Cava De Tirreni, seven nights room only, departing Manchester on 9 June 2025.

Price: £829 per person based on two adults sharing, including 22kg baggage allowance and return transfers.

Jet2holidays – Salerno, Amalfi Coast and Cilento, 3+ star Novotel Salerno Est Arechi, seven nights bed and breakfast, departing Manchester on 9 June 2025.

Price: £969 per person based on two adults sharing, including 22kg of baggage allowance and return transfers.

Jet2.com offers “low fares and great flight times” from Manchester to the Amalfi Coast (Salerno). Flights start from £49 per person each way including taxes, departing September 2025.

It is important to note that prices and availability are likely to change.

As well as putting this new airport on sale, Jet2holidays has also launched a number of new hotels on the Amalfi Coast in the resorts of Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Vietri sul Mare, which are now available to book.

In addition, holidaymakers can choose between hotels in a brand new Jet2holidays resort – the city of Salerno.

Salerno is located right on the edge of the world-famous Amalfi Coast and is conveniently close to numerous tourist attractions.

The old port city offers a cathedral, an old town, parks and museums to explore.

Those visiting the Amalfi Coast can combine the scenery of the Neapolitan Riviera and beautiful beaches, adds Jet2.com.
