Who is Finn Cole? How the Peaky Blinders star used his famous brother to rise to stardom and enjoyed a steamy night on screen with Margot Robbie – while sparking rumors of a relationship with Florence Pugh

Finn Cole and Florence Pugh caused a stir on Tuesday when they were spotted leaving The Perfect Couple after-party together.

The couple had arrived discreetly at the premiere itself, partied the night away at the Hoxton and left in the same car.

And although they have largely managed to remain undiscovered, Finn has built up a considerable fan base over the past few years.

However, it seemed obvious that he would become an actor, as he is the youngest brother of Joe Cole, the star of “Gangs of London” and “Black Mirror”.

Through his collaboration with his sibling, he rose to fame and became part of the cast of “Peaky Blinders”.

Joe revealed that he wanted to help his younger brother get his career started and therefore helped him get the role by talking to show bosses.

He told Clash in 2014: “Finn always wanted to find his own way – he was very keen and showed real energy and passion for acting.”

“He just kept pestering me. I actually rejected him, but at some point I said: “I will go with [the show’s producers] when you read the lines and understand the character, learn the accent and the scenes. You prepare and I film you doing it.”

“He put in the work and you have to give him credit for that. He worked very hard and got what he deserved.”

Finn added that he was especially stressed at the time of the audition because he was still in school and didn't have enough money to go to the auditions.

He explained: “He got the script through and we talked about it and read it together and there was a character in it that was really cool and I really liked it.”

“I never really had any intention of auditioning for it, I was still in college at the time, finishing high school and had to focus on that.”

“The week after I read it, I was in college and I was really bored. I just thought, 'You know what? I'll call Joe and see what he says.'”

“If there's any chance I could audition for this, that would be absolutely great,” he said, and suggested I go to Birmingham where there would be open auditions.

“I was looking for train tickets to Birmingham but I had no money so I couldn't do it. Then he called me back and said why don't we just record an audition and I'll send it to my agent.”
