Teens plead guilty to manslaughter in death of Rancho High School student

The four teenagers accused in the death of Jonathan Lewis were back in court.

Treavion Randolph (16), Dontral Beaver (16), Damien Hernandez (18) and Gianni Robinson (17) were back in juvenile court on Tuesday morning, where they all agreed to a plea deal for manslaughter.

We spoke to Mellisa Ready, Jonathan Lewis' mother, about what she thinks of the agreement.

“I've felt a lot of anger and rage and grief and other emotions. It's really disgusting that they're being offered these deals,” she said.

You may recall that just last month the four teens agreed to have their cases sent back to juvenile court, where they planned to plead guilty to manslaughter.

The teens were charged with second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit assault in connection with the killing of 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis.

According to Metro, Lewis was punched, kicked and beaten until he lost consciousness in an alley near Rancho High School.

This all happened in November last year.

He succumbed to his injuries a week later.

Police arrested nine juveniles, but those four were automatically tried in adult court under Nevada state law.
