Amazon has more than 150 million inhabitants

Most of them are not occupied by houses, but are equipped with apartments.

According to the 2022 census, 224,284 people are unoccupied in Amazonas. In Manaus, 106,965 states, more than $89 million was sent on occasion and about $18 million. On the contrary, the team has cared for 3,885 people in improvised homes, ranking 14th and having no national ranking. Most improvised homeowners in Amazonas were between 30 and 39 years old, representing an overall rate of 15.2%.

Adjalma Nogueira, IBGE Amazonas dissemination coordinator, explained that people found themselves in a precarious situation in the last months of the year.

Ainda segundo Nogueira, when family members living in improvised houses reveal a situation of vulnerability of the plot of the population.

Most people have spent more than 8,359 hours in shared housing in Amazonas. Among the contributors, 92.89% were literate 15 years or more ago, a percentage advantage over the national media.
