Rich Mahogany was a key figure in AKA's life, not only as a close friend, but in his multiple roles as a music executive, artist manager and brand consultant. Like many who had a close connection with Kiernan Forbes, Rich is struggling to process the loss of the celebrated rapper. His heartbreak is compounded by a burning desire to see justice done as he wrestles with the profound impact of AKA's untimely death.

In his interview with X, Rich Mahogany spoke openly about the aftermath of the tragic death of Kiernan Forbes in Durban last year. The well-known music producer called on those close to AKA to stop avoiding the critical questions of who had the financial means, motives and resources to stage such a heinous act. Rich expressed his frustration at the lack of confrontation and stressed how deeply irritated he is by the ongoing diversions and evasive maneuvers.

“Who had the motive, the time, the resources, and the money to kill fellow Kiernan soldiers? Can we stop beating around the bush? Unfortunately, we will never pretend this shit didn't happen. It made me sick to watch you idiots trying to distract.” He wrote.

Recently, the Eswatini court approved the extradition of the suspect in the AKA murder case. This landmark decision represents a significant step forward in the pursuit of justice as the Eswatini justice system has officially approved the surrender of the accused to face charges in South Africa.
