ONE Championship: Takeru Segawa is happy to finally fight at Lumpinee Stadium

Takeru Segawa can't wait to fight at the famous Lumpinee Stadium for the first time when he faces Thant Zin at ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27th.

The former K-1 champion is better known as a kickboxer than a Muay Thai fighter, and although he spent some time training in Thailand as a child, he had never been in the ring in Lumpinee before.

“I fought at Rajadamnern Stadium when I was in high school, so I am very happy to be able to fight at Lumpinee, another great Hall of Fame venue,” said Takeru.

His fight against Black Panther was originally planned, but the Thai fighter had to withdraw from his fight due to another injury.

Myanmar's Zin was drafted in as his replacement for Takeru's first fight since January and wants to give the fans an unforgettable evening.
