Friday night was not a good one for Green Bay Packers fans. Not only did they have to watch their team lose a hard-fought game against the Philadelphia Eagles, but they also had to watch their quarterback Jordan Love could be a serious knee injury towards the end of Green Bay's 34-29 loss.

Initial tests showed Love's anterior cruciate ligament is intact, but NFL Media says there are myriad possible outcomes based on additional scans that will be conducted when the Packers return to Green Bay late Saturday.

The injury occurred during the Packers' final possession on Friday, when Love was hit by linebacker Josh Sweat and defensive tackle Jalen Carter as he passed the ball to running back Josh Jacobs.

Malik Willis, a 2022 third-round pick that Green Bay recently signed, finished the game for the Packers, throwing an incomplete pass to Romeo Doubs on his first snap before being sacked on the final play of the game.

The Packers are of course hoping for the best-case scenario for Love, who signed a major contract extension this offseason after his successful first year as the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback. He threw 32 touchdowns in the 2023 regular season and helped the Packers to an unexpected wildcard spot. He posted a nearly perfect passer rating in the Green Bay Packers' surprise win over Dallas in the first round of the playoffs.

Against the Eagles, Love completed 17 of 34 passes for 260 yards with two touchdowns and an interception before suffering an injury that is still being evaluated.

So what does Love's injury mean for the Packers? And who could be a possible replacement? We've looked into both questions. Here.
